BeSt ChRiStMaS GiFt EvEr!!!

My Dad spent countless hours getting a Christmas gift ready for his kids this year. He compiled hundreds of hours worth of our home videos from when we we kids and put them on DVDs. I have been watching them in all of my spare time since Christmas and can't get enough of them. Thank you so much Dad!!! You are amazing!!!

ChRiStMaS!!!

Thanks to my sweet sister Toby, Christmas was AMAZING this year. Honestly, I have been dreading Christmas for a while now. I have been fighting back tears & just trying not to think about it. I've discovered that it sucks to be freshly divorced and "alone" on Christmas.

Last Sunday I sat in church all by myself and listened to the Christmas Program... not cool. I was genuinely expecting Christmas to suck big time. However, Toby made it amazing. With the meals, the snacks, the love, the fun, and the amazing environment her home is, Christmas was great. I can't thank you enough Toby for your kindness and welcoming of Noah and I. I love you so much!!!

ChRiStMaS eVe!

On Christmas eve, I worked until 1:00 and then Jeff took me snowmobiling. It was my first time going and I loved it! Alpine is amazing... especially when it's snow covered!

After snowmobiling, I picked Noah up from Dan and we went to Toby & Jake's house for a yummy Chimichanga Lunch/Dinner... thanks Jake!!!

Later, we went to Jake's work in SLC where he is an Air Traffic Controller. The kids got to see Santa on the airplane radar screen and talk to him on the phone... it was so much fun to see the excitement in Chandler and Thomas' eyes... too cute!

That night, the kids all opened their Christmas Eve Presents from Mima!!! JAMMIES!!! They absolutely loved them... they are all so blessed to have such an amazing Mima in their lives! Thanks Jodi!

I NEED A VACATION FROM LIFE!!!! <3

So... Noah and I (and maybe Jeff & his daughter) are going to take a trip to get away from life for a few days...

I am taking suggestions:)

I have a $100 giftcard for Southwest Airlines and a few bucks to spare... I'm a firm believer that it's ok to sacrifice a little $$$ for a vacation:)!

I need to go before February 21st (when Noah turns 2) so that I don't have to pay airfare for him:).

Please give us some suggestions... it needs to be fun, relaxing... and preferably warm... WE ARE FREEZING!!! :)

First of all, it has been snowing like CRAZY this week!!!
Second, I have a new cute boy in my life... he is so much fun to be with and treats me like a real lady should be treated:) !!!

He's kind, fun, loving, & handsome!!! A little bit of a red-neck cowboy... but who doesn't love a little red-neck once in a while ;)?!?

Yesterday we got over a foot of snow I think... Jeff lives only a few blocks away from me so going from his house to mine we just decided to walk. It was a beautiful, snowy, Alpine evening... but FREEZING!!! Here we are in all our beauty:)

I heard they were coming to town and there was NO way I was going to miss it. I also didn't want anyone else (that I knew loved them like I do) to miss it. So, I paid it forward & bought Lydia a ticket. Then I bought my bro-in-law Jake a ticket for his birthday - who in turn bought my lil' bro and his cute wifey tickets!!! YAY!!!!

So, Lyd and I were on the floor and were in the front, right against the stage for most of the concert... AMAZING!!!

So You Think You Can Dance is my favorite T.V. show!!! My friend Dave and I went to their live show this year and it was absolutely amazing!!! We had a lot of fun... SO GLAD I DIDN'T MISS IT!!!! ( COREY, BRIDGETTE, and DAN!!!:)
